About Me

My name is Christine Powers and I am a mother of 5, grandmother of 6 and along with my husband of 30+ years have spent many years as an entrepreneur. From managing the operations of a multi-million-dollar incentive/motivation company which involved merchandising, warehousing, program fulfilment, customer service, accounting and many other areas. Our company designed, implemented and fulfilled incentive programs for fortune 500 companies. I discovered during these years that I am in my element when handling large projects.

We worked hard during the week, but the weekends were devoted to my kids and my mom. My mother and I would spend our Saturdays visiting estate sales, garage sales, antique malls etc. We were thrilled at the prospect of finding treasures. That was our “funday”. Of course, during this process we acquired many treasures and had numerous garage sales ourselves and loved the process. We participated in antique malls, renting booths and selling merchandise and even owned our own Antique/Art Mall with over 70 vendors!

As a child and well into adulthood I had the experience of moving many times. It is a process I have learned how to do well, and I think it is one of the things that gave me a love of dealing with large projects, delegating and seeing them through to completion.

When my mom reached her 90’s it was time to move her in with us and yes we conducted an estate sale. It was a bittersweet time as this was an end to a chapter in my mom’s life, but the good news is, she was (and is) still with me. I know how emotional this transition can be from both perspectives and have found my purpose in offering my services which are fueled in compassion, integrity, love and honesty to others who may be going through the same thing. And this is how Powers Estate Sales was born!

I am delighted to have my husband and sons participate in this business with me – My husband is the marketeer and will help onsite and Justus and Nick are also very savvy when it comes to treasure hunting, pricing and selling items. It also never hurts to have some “manpower” on the team! We are truly Sharing the Powers!

There are a few other things I have become passionate about over the years and love to share including natural alternatives with regards to health and wellness. I have been a wellness advocate with doTerra since 2013 and a brand ambassador with Kannaway since 2018. This is what encouraged me to embrace networking.

I have spent the last seven years connecting with people and have learned the importance of networking and building strong relationships. Enjoying an active leadership role with Xperience Connections in the Acworth/Cobb area I feel blessed to have met some amazing people. I have developed some wonderful relationships with other like-minded women who are looking for personal growth as well as business growth. The intimate setting of XC really allows for deep connections. This is so important because both personal and business growth happens through friendships and referrals. You are only going to refer people to people you trust. Right?

With that…. I would love to connect with you!
~Christine
